Hello! I’m J.R. Soulsby I am a recent graduate of Kent State University where I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design, with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship. Born and raised in central Ohio, just outside of Columbus, many of my childhood hours were spent at skate parks, skateboarding. It is the skate and street culture that played the biggest role in influencing my fashion direction towards streetwear.
At Kent, I had the pleasure of interning at William Frederick Clothing, a unisex brand in Cleveland. There I developed a love for sustainable, quality, timeless designs, and learned a great deal about owning a start-up, which is invaluable as I work on building my own brand identity.
In my spare time you can find me thrifting and upcycling used garments. I not only incorporate some of my finds into my wardrobe, I have made a side business of sourcing and selling used and upcycled garments that are everlasting.
